  1. Thank you so much for letting me know. I have backed the campaign. :)
  2. I can't wait to see what is planned and I look forward to hearing more! 😁
  3. Thank you for that. :) Are you at least able to say whether it will be this year or next or is that too not able to be said?
  4. I would like to know roughly when the crowd funding for this will actually commence. I'm curious and this project is really exciting! 😁
  5. What about those rubber bracelets that people give out for promotion and/or fundraising? Bottle openers are also fun and useful promotional items. :) These could also be in as perks.
  6. If it wasn't for the pandemic, I would say have a small information stall in an appropriate location with little promotional packs with branded stuff like pens, notepads, keyrings, stress balls, leaflets and post it notes. However, as we probably can't do this, maybe the first hundred people to sign up for a newsletter or the first few donors to the fundraiser?
  7. I tried to edit previous post but couldn't, so I'll add that an alternative slogan to keyrings could be "I'm sh***** on viral disease" or "I'm helping to sh** on viral diseases." This could be extended to badges and sticker sets. Potentially, something akin to a poop emoji could be used but I think that flexible plastic cow pat keyrings would be more fun! 😁 They would make people chuckle, bring some cheer in these awful pandemic times and help to support an important cause. Maybe "Give a sh** and destroy viral disease" could be another slogan or perhaps "Kimer Med gives a sh** about dest
  8. May or may not be feasible but maybe if the top donor is willing to pay for transport, lodgings and any other logistical things, they can have a chance to meet some of the cows, meet the researchers and have a meal with them...I mean a meal with the researchers, not the cows! 🤣 Maybe it is a little too low brow but I would love to see little keyring cow pats with "Time to sh** on viral disease" and the Kimer Med logo on! 🤣 Feel free to substitute sh** for more euphemistic terms like poop or the less offensive cr**. 😜
  9. If any literature about this is going out such as someone writing a book or leaflet on the topic, stuff signed by the author is a popular perk on crowd funders, as is a mention for a thank you in any literature. You could offer signed photos of the research team or if a perk involves an actual living cow, maybe a photo of said cow with signatures from the team working on DRACO. If this project succeeds, I'm sure that the people behind it will become big stars and such items become quite collectable! 😁
  10. Has anyone done a short video for what is looking to be achieved and why yet? Probably a good idea during promotions to show that it is not only going to help humanity but also other species. Would be a good idea but ensure that it is kept simple enough for anyone to understand it. Not everyone is a scientist or doctor, myself included. There is a channel on You Tube called Kurzgesagt that is really good at explaining science and other things in a way that anyone can understand, perhaps you could look to them for inspiration and/or help?
  11. I have seen some companies do promotions whereby they get people to share a link via their personal Facebook/Twitter/other social media in return for being entered into a free prize draw for a few Amazon vouchers. It doesn't have to be vouchers, it could be merchandise for the campaign or something donated by any businesses supporting the cause and willing to give free stuff to promote themselves and help this cause.
  12. What about a photo/video/other media competition? You could ask people to do something for a small prize that is then voted on by the public via a landing page. This would mean that the link to the project is shared lots, thus raising awareness of this to others who may otherwise never encounter it. The best result would be if someone created an ace video that went viral. :) I am unable to do much to help other than share my thoughts in case no one else had thought about my ideas.
  13. What about the opportunity to have their name mentioned on a thank you page and/or a shout out on social media? You could also have higher donors eligible to have their website addresses put next to their names. This will then help this cause by getting more and potentially bigger donations and also a bit of promotion for the donor in return. I have seen other crowdfunders do this. Maybe if cows are going to be used in this research, high donors could name a cow and have a certificate and photo of their cow? We could be really cheesy and have some merchandise saying "I'm helping to moooove vir
